Many new developments do not offer the option of bathroom furniture. When the client received the apartment, the builder had only installed a white sink and toilet. The client’s dream was for a bathroom that would be unique and functional.
How to use every inch of space to make the room feel bigger
Since the bathroom is small, it seemed that installing wall cabinets would have emphasized the smallness of the room even more. Therefore, as many drawers and shelves were planned in the cabinet under the sink as the space allowed. To visually make the room bigger, a large round mirror was chosen and an LED light behind it. When the mirror light is on, the bathroom feels larger and more spacious.
A wooden shelf was installed on top of the cistern. This gave this niche a more unique look that harmonizes with the bathroom cabinet. The shelf is also practical.
We found a good basket for storing toilet paper, which also functions as a paper holder. The lower part of the basket can hold over 10 new rolls, so you don’t have to look for additional storage space for the papers.
The end result
There was enough storage space for the client to store everything they needed. If a slimmer washer dryer comes onto the market in the future, everything is in place to make it easy to replace. The river stone sink, which is the focal point, can shine in all its glory against the peaceful background. All in all, the unique bathroom that the client had dreamed of is complete.
