The Earth rug is made from recycled fishing nets.
Did you know that fishing nets make up 46% of plastic pollution in the oceans?
These nets can drift in the sea for years, posing a serious threat to marine life. In collaboration between Muubs and Egetæpper, the Earth rug was created.
This patterned rug is made from physically and chemically recycled fishing nets collected from the sea, which are turned into strong yarn, from which a large rug is woven.
The flat-woven Earth rug offers a sustainable textile solution for the floor. The rug’s pattern is inspired by the Earth’s landforms, and both the pattern and the raw edge of the rug were designed by Muubs.
The rug is produced in Denmark.

Care and Usage Instructions:
Daily cleaning with a vacuum cleaner. Remove dirt with a dry cloth or a white paper towel. Use warm water to moisten the area to be cleaned, then dry the moisture with a dry cloth. If cleaning with water does not yield results, use a universal stain remover. If none of the above methods work, professional dry cleaning is required.
Note: Always treat stains from the outer edge towards the center, and never use products containing chlorine, as they may bleach the product.
