The Uta cutlery received its name from the Japanese Utareta which means hammered or beaten. The characteristic hammer marks on the water-black cutlery in combination with the cold steel sensation creates a tactile surface that keeps you grounded. Hand wash is recommended to maintain the beautiful surface. Treat with cooking oil when needed. Each cutlery set include 16 pcs which includes 4 forks, 4 knives, 4 tea spoons and 4 table spoons.

Specific use and care instructions: The Uta cutlery is dishwasher safe, but will get an unique patina over time, so we do recommend cleaning it by hand using hot water and soap to maintain the beautiful surface. We recommend to lubricate the cutlery with cooking oil periodically in order to extend the beautiful black finish.
